Nominations sought for new Board members

The NCMC Board Is Looking For A Few Good Members! We need you…
The Museums Council fills its Board chair positions for two year terms on a staggered basis -- some chairs are elected in even years; the others, and officers, are selected in odd years, by the membership of the Council.

If you, or any NCMC member you know, is interested in working on the NCMC Board, we strongly encourage you to let us know. You need not have a specific Board position in mind, just a willingness to serve on the Board and act in the best interests of NCMC and North Carolina’s historical community. We will be happy to discuss the responsibilities of various Board chair roles with you. Participation on the Board is a great learning and networking experience! Simply e-mail to nominating@ncmuseums.org. [Mr. Lindsey A. Lambert (NCMC Nominating Chair), Brock Historical Museum, Greensboro College, 815 W. Market Street, Greensboro, NC 27401.]
