There's much yet to be contemplated and organized, but the NCMC plans a combined meeting with South Carolina in the Charlotte-Rock Hill area in 2009, tentatively set for March 4-6, 2009. Hold the dates!
And if you're truly an advance planner, anticipate the Council's Annual Meeting in Wilmington for 2010, probably in the first or second week of March. We will let you know the dates for that gathering when they are firm.

Take a look at all the exciting events and activities that occurred at the 2007 NCMC Annual Meeting in Hickory, N.C. The theme of the conference was Museums: Makers of Meaning.
NCMC's 2005 Annual Meeting: We met for the 2005 Annual Meeting March 2-4 in Salisbury, N.C. with the theme Museums at the Crossroads.
On March 3-5, 2004, Council members, guest speakers, session participants, and other colleagues gathered in Durham for our organization's 2004 annual meeting. The timing of this event was almost exactly 40 years after NCMC held its first official get-together at the Mint Museum in Charlotte on March 12, 1964. The theme of the 2004 meeting was "Celebrating Connections." Read more about the conference
