The Student Memorial Award, established in honor of deceased members of the North Carolina Museums Council, is available to undergraduate and graduate students interested in a career in museums. The award contributes to the cost of meeting registration and reimbursement. Registration for the 2010 annual meeting will be waived, and the recipient will be awarded $75 to help cover the costs of hotel and travel. The recipient of the Student Memorial Award will be recognized during the awards ceremony, will serve as co-chair of the Student Affairs Committee for one year, and will receive a one-year student membership in NCMC.
The deadline for application for this award for the 2010 Joint Meeting (North and South Carolina organizations, in Raleigh) is January 15, 2010. To apply, contact at Christopher Graham, or use the application materials supplied below.
