2009 Student Memorial Award Application

Applications for the 2009 Award are due on January 16, 2009 (annual meeting & conference will be March 4-6, 2008 in Charlotte/Rock Hill).

Please submit a cover letter containing the following information:

• Name, address, telephone number, and email address
• Institution attending, major or program of study
• Student status (part or full time, undergraduate or graduate, and year in the program)
• Current employment (if any) in a museum-related position

Please submit these supporting materials:

• Letter of recommendation from a professor or employer familiar with your interest or work in the museum field
• A resume OR a one page list of honors, awards, extracurricular and volunteer activities
• A narrative statement, maximum two pages, about your goals in the museum profession and how this conference will help further your goals

Entries must be received by January 16, 2009. 

Applicants will be notified by February 5, 2009.
